This tiny fighter deserves a standing ovation.
Meet Cricket, a curious 1-year-old kitty whose adventurous spirit led to an unexpected accident. After a fall from a chair, Cricket suffered a fracture to her left front leg that required orthopedic surgery to repair.
Fortunately, Cricket’s family understood the importance of timely surgical intervention and was committed to giving her the very best chance at a full recovery. Their dedication didn’t stop after surgery—they carefully followed every recovery instruction, kept Cricket’s activity restricted, attended each recheck appointment, and gave her the patience and love she needed to heal.
Today, we’re excited to share that Cricket is now 8 weeks post-operative and doing wonderfully! Her fracture has healed beautifully, and she’s well on her way back to climbing, playing, and enjoying life like the happy young cat she is.
A successful orthopedic repair is truly a team effort. While Dr. Grimes was honored to perform Cricket’s surgery, her incredible outcome is also a testament to her family’s commitment throughout the healing process. Their dedication made all the difference.
Congratulations, Cricket, on your amazing recovery! And a heartfelt thank you to your wonderful pet parents for trusting our team and giving you every opportunity to heal successfully. We can’t wait to see where your next adventures take you—hopefully with all four paws safely on the ground!
