If the pet is a patient of record, a technician appointment is great for nail trims, anal glad expressions, routine blood draws, injections for Proheart, Cytopoint, Librela, urinalysis rechecks, heartworm testing and suture removal. For everything else, your pet will need a appointment with the veterinarian to establish a valid VCPR (Veterinary Client Patient Relationship).

A valid or current VCPR is established if your pet has been examined by a SVS veterinarian within the previous 12 months.
